Adam Jewels
Adam carried out his Post-Graduate Diploma in Law at Kingston University in 2012 and then went onto study his Legal Practice Course at BPP University Law School, Waterloo London in 2013. Adam returned to Devon to carry out his Training Contract at a firm in Exeter, Devon, where he then qualified as a Solicitor in 2015.
Since qualifying, Adam has dealt with many of the potential issues that can be found in both rural and urban property matters during his career owing to have studied and worked in a rural location. This includes acting on several transfers of part where he has created new titles and has had to deal with the registration of new rights and reservations required between the property being bought and carved out of the retained land. Adam predominantly deals with residential sales and purchases for both freehold and leasehold matters however can also act on residential remortgages along with other types of residential property matters such as Transfers of Equity, the granting of easements, equity release remortgages, voluntary first registrations at the Land Registry and applications to the Land Registry to register claims for adverse possession.
Since joining Chilcotts in 2017, Adam has been working closely with other colleagues in the property office in dealing with the ever-busy workload of residential conveyancing on a day to day basis. While carrying out his work, Adam always aims to provide a friendly and efficient service whilst striving to ensure clients are left with a positive and stress-free experience, with clients being kept informed from the start to finish of their transaction.
When Adam is not at work, he likes to spend his free time with his partner and two young daughters. Adam also enjoys following football and keeping fit and healthy in his spare time.
