Bev Sheehan
Beverley obtained her law degree in 2004, becoming a CILEX member in 2006, and since 2015 has been a CILEX Conveyancing Practitioner. She is a specialist commercial property lawyer and has worked in the local government sector since 2007. She has extensive experience in land law issues and deals with a number of boundary disputes.
Beverley’s practice and experience can be divided into three main areas:
- Acting for local authorities and housing associations on commercial transactions
- Landlord & Tenant
- Acting for clients on land law issues/boundary disputes
Beverley has and currently acts for a number of local authorities on commercial matters and projects.
She advises on all types of property transactions, combining her legal expertise with a pragmatic approach, to include:
- Acquisitions/sales of high street premises/sites/regeneration projects
- Lease extensions under the Leasehold Reform and Urban Development Act 1993
- The drafting of new and renewal commercial leases.
- Preparation and service of Landlord & Tenant Notices
- Commercial Sales to include overage and clawback provisions
- Land issues/disputes/common land
- Covenants, Easements and Licences
Beverley has the expertise, which enables her to pick up long-standing dormant matters and progress them to a conclusion, whilst taking on new and varied-stage matters. She hits the ground running and quickly identifies the issues, applying the relevant law, whilst acting within statutory boundaries.
She is tenacious and responds quickly to business demands.
