Lindsay joined the Chilcotts Law team in March 2021 as a Legal Assistant in the Private Client department

Lindsay was brought up in Sevenoaks, Kent where she attended the Weald of Kent Grammar School in Tonbridge. After leaving school she joined the Civil Service where she was promoted to a position within a ministerial Private Office in Whitehall.

Lindsay’s career in law began in 1989 when she joined the London City law firm, Simmons & Simmons, as a Legal Personal Assistant. After working there for 25 years and gaining experience in various areas of law, she opted for a change of scenery and moved down to the East Sussex coast with her family. There she joined a local firm in Hove as a Legal Assistant in the Private Client department.

Lindsay is an Associate Member of CILEx (Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) and is currently studying for her Level 6 Diploma. On completion, she will graduate as a Fellow Member and go on to obtain her CILEx Practising Certificate.

A motivated, energetic and enthusiastic person – Lindsay is always looking for a new challenge! She built her first family home with her husband and is always trying out new hobbies. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys walking with her dog along coastal paths, cycling and visiting buildings of historic interest. She is an avid reader and keen theatre-goer.
