Chilcotts Law has a history dating back to the 1800’s. Over time, we have built up a reputation in Tavistock and surrounding areas as an experienced and knowledgeable firm with a strong and loyal client base.
However, not a firm to rest on its laurels, we have launched a hybrid law firm model with the introduction and recruitment of consultants in the South West and beyond to ensure that we are able to offer legal services and expertise in all areas of law. As you would expect for a firm the size of Chilcotts Law, we offer a wide range of services. For private individuals we provide services which help in times of change, such as moving home, or making a will; or in periods of difficulty such as a family break-up, breakdown in relationship with your employer, or bereavement. For our business clients we can help with commercial property transactions and dispute resolution.

For us, that means making sure our clients are completely happy – whether that is with the service they receive, the advice they are given, or working around our clients to ensure we are as flexible and lateral thinking in the way we approach your instructions. We understand that many of our clients lead busy lives, so we try to fit our appointment times around you – whether that is in your lunch hour or after work. We are equally happy to visit you at home or in a care setting should that be your place of residence.
For those clients who are not local to our office we can offer skype and facetime calls. We understand that our clients want their matters resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible and at Chilcotts Law, we work with you to ensure we meet your needs, providing a timely service as well as ensuring the provision of sound advice.
Whilst we pride ourselves on serving the local community. We also serve clients across the UK due to the nature of the work we do, and the fact we are specialists in our field.
We hold the Law Society Accreditation for the Conveyancing Quality Scheme as well as membership of Solicitors for the Elderly. You can rest assured, you are in good hands.
